Made from a flexible material that allows to slip over the bezel of your flashlight to apply the appropriate colour for the situation. Common colour usages are:
- Red: Red light is most often used to enhance, or more properly, not harm night vision
- Green: Green light is preferred by hunters and fishermen because it is a very soft light that will not spook their prey.
- Blue: The blue or violet light filter aids in tracking prey
