Why Mechanix Wear FastFit Gloves are our Most Popular Glove!

Everyone has their favourite glove brand and users rarely shie away from this however, Mechanix Wear FastFit Gloves may sway you into buying a new pair.

We wanted to test these ourselves prior to posting so we decided to put them through their paces on a range of different tasks. We used them working out, operating cameras, hiking and at the range. After 3 solid weeks of abuse, I can honestly say that the Mechanix Wear FastFit Gloves are a durable, lightweight glove that is easy to work with.

We knew that the glove would perform while working out, at the range and while hiking however, the true test would come working with the video camera. We wanted to know how the gloves will work operating fiddly pieces of equipment, buttons and the like. Scrolling through the menu's, adjusting shutter speed and focus rings was an easy task whilst the gloves were on your hands.

One feature that stands out for me is that there is no requirement to velcro or tie the gloves to your hand after you have put them on. The elastic closure works perfectly and also keeps the gloves securely on your hands. This suits when quick deployment of gloves is essential. There isn't much shock protection (we recommend Mechanix Wear M-Pact Gloves if protection is required) however, there is sufficient protection against glass, metal, splinters etc. The Mechanix Wear FastFit Gloves do feature breathable material on the inside of each finger which works well in warmer climates. They aren't great for cold weather climates however do protect your hands against the cold to some degree.

All in all, the Mechanix Wear FastFit Gloves are a steal at $29.99 and definitely worth every penny.
